Forrest Paquin

My name is Forrest Paquin. I am from Spartanburg, South Carolina. At ten years old , I started private classical violin and voice lessons. I graduated from South Carolina Governors School for the Arts and Humanities in violin performance. In 2004 I moved to New York City to study voice at Mannes College of Music for two years. My professor Marian Thompson taught me classical and pop standard repertoire. Starting to explore my options as a singer and violinist, I started to take Private Jazz lessons from Janet Lawson and Bruce Kolb. I developed a love for singing and violin improve, jazz and the blues. Being in New York has been very inspiring to me. I have been able to explore the arts. Currently I sing in an Anti-violence play which travels all over the state.  I have sung backup vocals for several bands and played violin. Currently I have my own band, El Diablo Robotico singing lead vocals and violin. I recently started playing violin with the band Mystic Union
